Getting started

RadiusOne is onboarding a small number of ISPs in Uganda. This is how it goes, from your first message to your first sale.

  1. Tell us about your ISP

By WhatsApp: your ISP name, country, hotspot, PPPoE or both, about how many customers, your RouterOS version, and what you use for billing today.

  2. Compatibility check

We check your routers and setup against what RadiusOne supports, and tell you plainly if something will not work yet.

  3. Rates and your account

We agree your rates in writing, set up your account, and help you connect your first router and create your packages.

  4. Go live

Your customers start buying, and your wallet fills as they pay.

When something goes wrong

How soon we reply, what we treat as an emergency, and where we tell every ISP at once.

First reply

General and technical requests
Within 2 hours, in support hours
Emergencies
Within 1 hour, at any time

These are times to a first reply, not to a fix.

What counts as an emergency

  • RadiusOne cannot be reached at all.
  • Customers across an ISP cannot log in because of a RadiusOne failure.
  • Customers cannot buy vouchers or pay invoices because payments are down.
  • Withdrawals fail across the platform.
  • Logins fail on several connected routers at once.
  • A confirmed security breach or unauthorised access.
  • A major database failure or data corruption.

Anything else is handled in support hours.

Outage notices

Outages, planned maintenance, updates and restored service are posted on the RadiusOne WhatsApp Channel, and sent to every ISP on our broadcast list. Only RadiusOne posts there, and a reply to the broadcast comes to us alone.

Who runs RadiusOne

RadiusOne is ISP billing software for internet service providers that run MikroTik routers. It is built for the way ISPs in East Africa sell: hotspot vouchers, monthly PPPoE subscriptions, voucher agents and mobile money. RadiusOne is a product of Imara Systems Limited, which operates the platform and holds its payment agreements.
